Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Computer Science: Internship/ Student Job/ Working Student

You want to do an internship? You even have to? You want to work in your field during your studies, also as a working student? Take the opportunity to get a taste of the work in an engineering company!

Depending on your interests, and especially your experience, we offer internships starting at three months. Mostly as pre-projects or internal functional samples, sometimes also in customer projects.

What do You Do during your Internship at Solcept?

  • You work on a part of a project or on a separate pre-project.
  • Together we will tailor the project to your interests and knowledge.
    • This can be embedded software, an electronic prototype or a software tool.
  • You are mentored by an experienced engineer.
  • You document the results of your work so that we can use them further.

What do you Bring along?

  • Student: You are studying electrical engineering or computer science, at least for two semesters already, and have an interest in embedded:
    • So that you have the technical basis for your work.
  • Learning: A quick grasp, a creative way of dealing with uncertainties, curiosity and broad interests in new technical and other topics:
    • So that you can expand your practical knowledge efficient and quickly.

What are the Next Steps?

  1. You email me your documents and your interests (hardware, software, C, C++..., the more the easier for us to find a project for you).
  2. If we have a project that fits you, I will contact you within a week or so for a phone call.
  3. If we both find that it fits, we sign a temporary work contract.

What do you do as a Working Student or in a Student Job at Solcept?

  • You work on our projects.

    • This can be embedded software or electronics development.

What are the Next Steps?

If we find each other to be a good fit aT every step of the way, this is how your application process will go:

  1. You email me your documents and your interests and possible questions.
  2. Within about a week, I invite you to a first appointment to find out together whether we basically fit together: You have a first conversation with me and one with a co-worker.
  3. Within about another week, we invite you to a second appointment to assess your professional skills: You discuss one of your study projects and one of our projects with our subject specialists.
  4. Within about another week we meet for the signature of the work contract.
