We see many relationships with external service providers, especially in consulting, that are designed to last “forever.” We want to set you free after the project; ideally, any ongoing relationship with us should be a strategic decision on your part!
When we provide consulting services for you, you want to benefit from our knowledge and our experience. In that case, our goal is always to empower you to build that capability yourself. For example, we don’t want to hold your hand forever as your “partner for security analyses.” We want you to be able to take matters (such as HARA, TARA, CRA…) into your own hands as soon as you are ready.
For product development, depending on your strategy, it makes more sense for us to be your partner over the long term. Especially if it does not make commercial sense for you to build your own development team or even an entire organization for embedded systems, functional safety, etc.
If you do not aim for this strategic step toward a long-term partnership in product development, then we also see our role here as empowering you, e.g., through meaningful documentation, to maintain and further develop the product yourself.
Working with us is not a lock-in. We want you to enter into a partnership on equal terms because of our services, which is also more enjoyable…
