Ground Control System for an Autonomous Aircraft
weGCS is a program that allows real-time visualization and control of the position and status of an unmanned aicraft (or helicopter) on a laptop. In addition the aircraft flight path can be planned and defined using an easy-to-use interface (point and click) on a digitized map.
Map projection calibration by definition of the coordinates for a few points allows the use of any map that is available in a bitmap format.
