Linux for an Image Processing OMAP System
A complete Linux application was ported from x86 to OMAP. Drivers were adapted to the customers hardware. Libraries for the x86 were ported to the OMAP and optimized. The prototype of the application was extended through XML-configuration, host communication and software download functions amongst others and converted to production code.
Challenge
Adaptation of the application, libraries, drivers and hardware to transfer the functionality from the x86 to the ARM processor
