Linux for a MIPS System-Controller

A Linux board support package was designed for the controller (RMI/ AMD Au1550) of a complex measurement system. For this purpose several kernel drivers had to be developed, as well for proprietary communication interfaces.

In addition mechanisms for software updates, a fallback system and tools for hardware startup and production tests were established.

Porting and setting up of U-Boot und Linux including adaptations of the hardware
