ScBF548: Single Board Blackfin Computer

For rapid development and small volume production, Solcept has developed a Blackfin board. The main design goals where:

simple application as single board computer: wide input voltage range, all interfaces on board
useful as mezzanine board, too: all processor signals and interfaces on the board-to-board connectors
complete
uClinux support

The board can be operated in three modes:

standalone, needing only power supply
together with our baseboard
on your application-specific board.

BF548 Interfaces on the Mezzanine-Connector

The following interfaces are provided on the mezzanine connector:

Hard disk: ATA/ ATAPI-6

Camera: ITU-R BT.656

LCD: 18/ 24 bit

Fast synchronous serial interfaces: SPORT

Synchronous serial interfaces: SPI, I2C

Asynchronous serial interfaces: UART

Field bus: CAN

Parallel interfaces: Host DMA

Timer/ Counter with PWM- or rotary encoder support

In-/ Outputs: GPIO

Applicable without Baseboard

The ScBF548 is directly usable, without base- or evaluation board. This is due to the fact that all interfaces are provided with standard connectors and protection elements. Only a supply voltage in needed which can vary in a large range.
