Quality & Processes using a Wiki
What does Quality Mean?
First and foremost compliance with requirements. For embedded projects this means primarily the compliance with technical specifications, deadlines and cost targets.
What does Quality have to do with a Wiki?
A Wiki is a technical platform which allows numerous authors to generate and maintain documents collectively.
Common documents in our case are the process descriptions, collections of checklists and workflows.
What are the Advantages?
Using a Wiki (in our case Confluence) to document process descriptions, templates and checklists has the advantage of allowing their easy adaptation to changing needs.
These modifications can for instance be required by changes in software tools, by technological progress or simply by new experiences which are to be included in descriptions, templates and checklists.
